Event: Consumer PR event at Vinopolis
During the summer months, Tchibo needed to embark on a publicity campaign in order to maximise consumer publication coverage for its Christmas product range. Critical to success was to ensure as many consumer journalists as possible attended the event in Central London.
Button’s role: Project management, event management and PR
We chose the funky Vinopolis as a venue in which to showcase the latest product ranges that would be on sale in the run up to Christmas. Firstly we enticed the journalist by sending them teaser products with a beautifully designed invitation. This was then followed up with phone calls and in some cases personal visits. For the one day event we were involved in developing the press packs, merchandising the products and setting up a coffee bar with snacks and drinks.
Benefits
We met the deadline for the long lead publications and Tchibo received fantastic coverage with over 30 exposures in consumer press, magazines and radio broadcasts.
