I’ve recently returned from summer trip to the Med. Anyone else like me? Never truly switch off when you are on holiday?
With beautiful colours in abundance, artisan markets, sharing platters groaning with olives and oils and rustic textures with peeling paints its really difficult to switch off the “wow that would be great in a moodboard” button in my head. My little i-phone was on overload. So I thought I would share just some of the inspiration that will be making its way to a branding styleboard sometime soon.
Every shade of blue from Cobalts to Aqua
Crisp whites with pops of cobalt blue.
Midnight blues with hues of pink and orange captured just as the sun was setting.
Sunsets at sea give out the most amazing hues and glows. The sea on this particular evening just as the sun was setting was like a mill pond. Silky smooth and I captured the most wonderful array of oranges, pinks and turquoise blues. No filter necessary on these shots
Rustic, Terracottas and Peeling Paint
Rustic textures with weather beaten boards topped off with a hint of green of what use to be! I wonder what stories this old window has seen?
Colour Clash Glory
Sunny yellows in the piazza. Cool Terracotta tiles interrupted with this glorious burst of Yellow
No description needed! Apart from the fact these were beautiful washed down with a crisp cold Rose.
Typography Heaven
And Finally
No colour inspiration blog would be complete with an image of white washed walls covered in beautiful purple flowers
